Here's how you can set up your emails for success:

  • Above the Fold (ATF): This is your make-or-break moment. Include a powerful headline, an engaging image or graphic, and a clear, compelling call to action (CTA). Think of it as your email's elevator pitch—quick, persuasive, and to the point.

  • Engaging and Persuasive Copy: Your words should drive action. Use active voice, action-oriented language, and keep it concise. Every sentence should serve a purpose, whether it’s to educate, entice, or convert. (full copywriting guide coming soon 👀 )

  • Personalized Touches: Segment your audience and tailor your messages accordingly. Use data to personalize the experience—mention previous purchases, acknowledge browsing history, or suggest items based on their preferences.

✍️ Implement These Strategies To Boost Sales

Here are some direct strategies you can apply right now to see an uptick in your engagement and conversion rates:

  1. Optimize Your CTA Placement: Don’t bury your CTA at the bottom of your email. Place it above the fold and again at the end. Make it big, bold, and impossible to ignore. CLICKABILITY IS KEY

  2. Segmentation: Create campaigns to your most engaged subscribers to maintain 40%+ open rates and 1%+ click rates. This is something I see most brands ignoring.

  3. A/B Testing: Never settle. Test different elements of your emails, from subject lines to images to CTAs. Even small tweaks can lead to significant improvements in performance.

  4. Visuals/Graphics/Icons: People have what we refer to as “TikTok brain” and odds are you sells to the average consumer (whether you think so or not) And the average consumer needs visuals, icons and graphics to pay attention to anything these days. Use these in your emails frequently!
